Firm counsels clients on all aspects of estate,
gift and generation-skipping transfer taxation
to develop comprehensive estate planning strategies.
The Firm estate planning services include
preparation of Wills, living wills, health
care proxies and powers of attorney; a variety
of trust agreements, including revocable lifetime
trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and irrevocable
life insurance trusts; and family limited
partnerships and limited liability companies.
The Firm also represents clients with respect
to the creation and administration of private
foundations, including all tax related matters.
The Firm represents both individual and corporate
fiduciaries in connection with the administration
of trusts and estates, including formal accountings
and related tax matters. The Firm also represents
beneficiaries seeking to ensure proper administration
of estates from which they will inherit. The
Firm has substantial experience in representing
clients in Surrogate’s Court litigation, including
Will contests, difficult probates, construction
proceedings and contested accountings.
